A native New Mexican, Dr. Philip M. Gallegos, DDS is originally from La Jara, NM. He attended school in Cuba, NM until the age of 15, at which point he and his family moved to Albuquerque to live.
He attended Saint Pius X High School where he met the love of his life, his wife Jerica. Upon graduation from Saint Pius, Dr. Gallegos went on to attend the University of New Mexico majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Dr. Gallegos then went on to attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX for 4 years.
Upon graduation from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Gallegos moved back to NM and furthered his dental training working as an Associate for a private practice here in Albuquerque.
He believes education is ongoing, for that reason Dr. Gallegos is an advocate of continuing education. Dr. Gallegos stays up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures, and incorporates those teachings into his everyday practice of dentistry.
Gallegos Family Dentistry is a comprehensive dental practice, meaning Dr. Gallegos can provide all the dental services under one roof (with the exception of a few procedures), eliminating the fear of being referred elsewhere for dental treatment.
In addition to this, Dr. Gallegos is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish!
